I. GARY WASSERMAN
ATTORNEY AT LAW

Mr. Wasserman has been practicing law in San Diego County for over twenty-five years. During this time he has represented hundreds of community associations and routinely provides legal counsel in this area.

As an industry leader, Mr. Wasserman assisted in forming US Bank's HOA lending division. He also serves as a volunteer on the Building Industry Association's Construction Defect Resolution Taskforce and their Legal Sub-Committee. He is well recognized as an industry authority in the area of common interest developments, including but not limited to governing document creation, review and interpretation.

Mr. Wasserman is a 1973 graduate of California State University at San Jose and a 1978 graduate of Thomas Jefferson University School of Law. He is a member of the San Diego County Bar, Northern San Diego County Bar and the American Bar Association. Other professional organizations in which he is a participatory member include the following: California Association of Community Managers (CACM), Community Associations Institute (CAI), Building Industry Association (BIA) and Home Builders Council (HBC).

DEBORAH M. KORNHEISER

Ms. Kornheiser has been practicing law since 1986
in the fields of civil and real estate law, including arbitration, mediation and trial. Ms. Kornheiser’s law practice emphasizes homeowners association representation; general business advice; delinquency collections; CC&R and Bylaw interpretation; opinion letters; and contracts review.

Ms. Kornheiser is a Judge Pro Tem for San Diego Superior Court, Small Claims Division and Traffic Division, and a volunteer providing legal services to the public through the San Diego County Bar Association. Ms. Kornheiser serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Council for the BIA. She also serves as the Scholarship Chairman and Sunrise Program Chairman. Ms. Kornheiser is an arbitrator for the San Diego Bar Association Client-Relations Committee and is an instructor for the CACM Core Courses and the ABC’s of Community Associations for CAI.

Ms. Kornheiser is a graduate of the University of California at San Diego and the University of San Diego School of Law. She is licensed to practice law before all State and Federal Courts in California and Nevada.
